I. Job Overview 

In this role, the Assistant Manager ensures strong IT risk controls, regulatory compliance, effective incident management, and robust business continuity capabilities. The position is vital in supporting the organization’s stability, minimizing IT-related disruptions, and driving continuous improvement in IT governance.

II. Job Responsibilities

1. IT Risk Governance & Framework

• Develop, maintain, and implement IT risk policies, guidelines, and governance standards.

• Ensure alignment with internal and regulatory requirements.

2. IT Risk Identification, Assessment & RCA

• Continuously identify potential IT risks and assess their impact.

• Conduct root cause analysis for IT incidents and propose preventive solutions.

3. Compliance Collaboration & Gap Analysis

• Work with the Compliance Department to perform gap analysis for IT and Operations.

• Identify improvement areas and support corrective action planning.

4. IT Control Review & Testing

• Review and test IT controls to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

• Document results and follow up on remediation activities.

5. Monitoring IT Incidents & Disruptions

• Track and monitor all IT-related incidents and downtimes.

• Evaluate impact, ensure proper reporting, and support timely resolution.

6. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) Oversight

• Oversee BCP and DR planning, testing, and maintenance.

• Ensure readiness for emergencies and coordinate annual drills

III. Job Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field

2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT Risk Management, IT Governance, IT Audit, Information Security, or Business Continuity.

3. Experience in financial institutions or regulated industries is preferred.

4. Experience in conducting IT risk assessments, control testing, and gap analysis is highly valued..
