Job Overview 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing company policies and procedures, identifying and mitigating compliance risks, providing expert compliance advice, and ensuring that the company complies with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, law, and AML/CFT, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review the Company’s policies and procedures including Compliance Policy and Procedure, AML/CFT Policy, Procedure and Guideline, and other policies and procedure to ensure that they are complied with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, monitor, control, mitigate and report compliance risk timely and properly, as person in charge of branch compliance risk management.
  • Provide accurate and expert compliance advice timely, including but not limited to advice and new product/business, to review and sign off PMF.
  • Develop and conduct compliance review/test plan, finalize the review report and ensure the timely and effective rectification.
  • Study current and new laws, regulations and standard, correctly understand their provisions and essence, precisely grasp their impact on the Company’s operation.
  • Design and develop training program and material for compliance and ensure that the program and materials are implemented.
  • Provide training to new recruit staff as well as the existing staff related to AML/CFT, Compliance Framework and Whistle Blowing as well as Conflict of Interest.
  • Have liaison with the report to regulator/authority under its own responsibilities.
  • Ensure that the bank complies with the requirement of FATCA in term of registering and reporting.
  • Review and provide comments on the agreement/MoU that the Company shall be the party of those agreements.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisors.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in compliance
  • At least 3 years of experience in law
  • At least 3 years of experience in AML/CFT
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and professionally
  • Strong commitment to integrity and transparency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Good English language skills
